BuyingStation secures ISO certification hat trick as it continues its drive to level the field in procurement

Kavita Cooper

BuyingStation, the SaaS ProcureTech platform for small procurement teams, today announced that it has secured the following ISO certifications:

  • ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Together, these certifications clearly position BuyingStation as a trusted technology partner, able to operate with enterprise-level maturity, governance and resilience.

How customers benefit

The certifications give customers a transparent view into BuyingStation’s methods of working. As a result, they can see what controls sit behind the service and have confidence that they have selected a secure, responsible and forward-thinking procurement platform provider.

Specifically, the ISO certifications provide BuyingStation’s customers with the confidence and ability to:

  • ensure safer handling of supplier and commercial data
  • provide reliable, consistent delivery built on audited processes
  • align with their ESG and security expectations
  • improve clarity and control over suppliers, contracts and spend
  • reduce workload and increase capacity for strategic work

Standards demonstrate BuyingStation’s credibility in the market

Acquiring all three certificates is a rare achievement. It not only demonstrates BuyingStation’s commitment to ensuring it holds the latest in internationally recognised standards but also underlines how serious the scaling procurement technology company is about living its values every day.

Kavita Cooper, CEO, explains what the certifications mean for the company and its customers:

“Very few procurement technology companies obtain all three major ISO standards. Many choose one. Few hold the complete set and maintain them year after year. We believe it’s this discipline to maintain and improve standards that sets us apart.”

“This ethos is a fundamental part of the fabric of our company and reflects our mission to level the field for smaller teams and build the future of procurement through clarity, trust, and responsible practice,” continues Cooper. “We know it will give our customers complete confidence in our platform as the foundations behind BuyingStation are proven and externally validated.”

“In practical terms, these foundations make procurement easier to manage, give leaders stronger assurance and strengthen compliance which underpins quality and supports the sustainable growth of our clients.”
